Anonymous I purchased these to use as a multipurpose wheel. I initially wanted to get the Moxi fundae wheels but I really enjoy a smooth ride so I was looking for a softer wheel with similar dimensions. This 82a durometer is slightly harder than 78a. I feel that there is an equal balance of slip on smooth concrete and grip on rough concrete. The small diameter and beveled edges give it a lot of agility and freedom of movement. I've used these in the rink and felt that I was able to go at a pretty fast pace and it wasn't as grippy as radar energy 57s. For trail skating, it is easier to pick up speed and the edges don't make me trip up on pebbles as much, but I use my sure-grip motion wheels for longer distances.
