Volition Skate Co. was founded in 2020, during the height of the pandemic. Founder, Jen Kranz, a single mom of two, reconnected with the joy of roller skating and made it her mission to get as many people as she could in roller skates.
Jen grew up in Las Vegas & Montana, but now calls Fairfield, Iowa home. Fairfield is a small town known for Transcendental Meditation and Jen graduated from Fairfield's Maharishi University with a degree in Conscious Entrepreneurship and Digital Marketing.
The Volition Skate Shop is located on the south side of Fairfield's beautiful Central Park Square.
Volition's mission is to help people reconnect with their communities and themselves through the joy of roller skating. We believe that when people come together to skate, they form bonds that transcend social barriers and create opportunities for positive change. Our vision is to create a world where everyone has access to the transformative power of skating.
