What You'll Learn
For beginners, you will learn foundational skills and proper techniques with safety in mind.
For the more intermediate/advanced skaters, you will learn skills for your level and some dance skating basics.
Sample beginner menu: falling safely, stopping, pushing side to side, bubbles, balancing exercises, cannon ball, slalom. Skate parts and adjustments overview.
Sample intermediate/advanced menu: balance drills, crossovers, backward variations, transitions, dance skating basics.
About Your Instructor, Appelusa
Appelusa is a USA Roller Sports (USARS) Certified Coach and Bronze Medal World Champion. She has been coaching for over twenty years from beginners to national champions in art skating. Born and raised in Los Angeles to roller skating rink owners, Appelusa has been a performer, coach, and choreographer in tons of music videos, commercials, films, TV shows, and live events. She is best known for the mesmerizing skating in Chet Faker’s “Gold” music video. Come take a class and learn from one of the best!
